Well, today was different; a high temp of 37 degrees with wet snow through mid-afternoon. Sadly, the golf cart we use to make our campground rounds does not have wipers or a heater haha!
Despite the falling snow, we set off this afternoon on the Devils Garden Trail, which brings you to views of 7 named arches; because of the snowy conditions and time constraints, we reached three.
We first came to the Tunnel Arch (#3 for us this trip), and a smaller, unnamed arch to the left (#4) …
Off in the distance we spied one of the park’s over 2,000 documented arches ( we’re gonna count this as #5 for us) …
Just around the bend is Pine Tree Arch (#6) …
Back on the main trail and a little further along we came to the famous Landscape Arch (#7). Note a portion of Partition Arch (#8) can be seen to the right …
By this time the snow had picked up in intensity and was sticking to the trail, and our clothing!
Snow sure made the landscape pretty!
And then the day ended with sunshine and a hint of rainbow!
